Job Title: SaaS Application Support Administrator

SS&C Advent has been the market leader in providing portfolio management solutions for over 30 years. Work with a dynamic team of system experts on Advent Software’s suite of cloud services. Advent products operate within our own private cloud and the experience and desire to work within a private cloud technology environment are required. Technologies include Windows, Active Directory, SQL Server, VMWare vSphere, Citrix XenApp, Netapp, SolarWinds, Jenkins, and Chef to name a few. Technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to write and follow runbooks are required qualities to be successful in this position.

What You Will Get To Do:

- Implement, patch, and maintain Advent’s suite of products for Advent’s SaaS offering (AOS) environments in Advent's private cloud.
- Support automation scripts in batch and PowerShell
- Act as an IT escalation point for Advent Support in regard to the AOS environments.
- Identify, document, automate and optimize maintenance tasks where needed.
- Participate in work hours and weekend on-call pager rotation to perform after-hour maintenance. Don’t worry, this requirement is applied professionally with respect to work-life balance.

What You Will Bring:

- At least 5-7 years’ experience supporting Windows Applications in an enterprise environment. Advent products operate within our own private cloud and the experience and desire to work within a private cloud technology environment are required.
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Windows operating system technologies.
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting PowerShell. Writing scripts, a plus
- Experience with fin Advent products a plus
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and GPO management
- Knowledge of basic SQL scripting, SSRS
- Knowledge of Service Now ticketing systems
- Experience with Atlassian Products (confluence, JIRA)
- Experience with troubleshooting common Windows-related protocols, e.g., Kerberos, NTLM, DNS, LDAP/S, Global Catalog
- Experience supporting a complex end-user environment(s)
- Microsoft and Citrix certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Team player. Recognizes the bigger picture and understands the value of teamwork.
- Experience being in an on-call rotation.
