Hans Service Co-ordinator

The HANS (Homerton Anal Neoplasia) service is the biggest service provider for the diagnosis and treatment of anal neoplasia in the UK. The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of the service, with the support of the department service manager. The post holder will also line manage the other admin staff within the HANS service.
Co-ordinate all administrative functions within the department
Maintain an overview of demand and capacity, ensuring the department meets national waiting times targets
Liaise with theatres and booked admissions teams to ensure theatre lists are utilised effectively
Manage admin staff within the service, including recruitment and performance and sickness management if required
Resolve patient queries and complaints
Maintain expert knowledge of admin processes within the service, and train other staff in these processes as required
