We are looking for a **People Team Coordinator** to join the People Team. The postholder will be based at our Dartmouth Way site and will be responsible for managing the People Team inbox, updating the HR system as well as employee records, running standard HR reports, coordinating interviews, drafting employee offer letters and contracts, and much more.

The role will include reception duties where you will be required to manage the reception desk by meeting and greeting visitors, issuing PPE, organising meetings, and sorting and distributing external mail.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into the world of HR or looking to develop their knowledge of HR practices and processes.

**Main purpose of the job**: To ensure that the necessary administration relating to all people processes and procedures is conducted in a professional manner, including support to the wider people team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the HR Systems (Crown T&A and Crown HR) ensuring its integrity when accessing information and running People Team reports.
- Work closely with the team and payroll to ensure that payroll submissions such as new starters, leavers, changes to terms and any general adjustments are processed in line with payroll deadlines.
- Draft employee contracts and letters, ensuring they are accurate, timely and clear.
- Tracking all key documentation such as new starter document, probation forms, return to work etc
- Conducting right-to-work checks for all prospective employees
- Support the hiring process by performing pre-employment checks such as reference and right to work checks.
- Co-coordinating and scheduling meetings, interviews, HR events
- Assist with developing group communications and getting involved in colleague engagement activities.
- To respond to ad hoc requests and/or take an active role in specific projects as directed by the People Business Partners and Head of People.
- To support in bringing to life newly established people initiatives through site communications and by managing key calendar events.
- Full responsibility for managing People Team communications via our TV screens.

**Reception**
- Meeting and greeting all visitors.
- Distribution of PPE for relevant visitors.
- Signing in and out of site visitors.
- Announcing visitors for the correct personnel.
- Completing relevant paperwork for visitors to site.
- Accepting and signing of deliveries where applicable.
- Sorting and distribution of incoming mail.

**Other Duties**

To protect the health, safety and welfare of the jobholder and others at all times.
- To take an active role in continuously developing personal skills and knowledge through self-development activities and/or through attending Company organised training and development opportunities.
- To ensure that the Company is professionally represented at all times, both inside and outside the business.
- To respond to ad hoc requests and/or take an active role in specific projects as directed by the role’s line manager.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required by the Company.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
