We are really excited to be able to offer this 12-month pilot post opportunity to an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist as either a fixed term contract or secondment.

We recognise that understanding and responding to the speech, language and communication needs of our patients plays an incredibly important role in the assessment and treatment of the individuals that we work with in mental health services. For that reason, we are looking to recruit an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our medium and low-secure mental health inpatient services to help us develop our offer in this area.

The Allington Centre is a 20 bedded low secure service in Dartford providing assessment and treatment to men only. Patients within these services will present with a range of mental health diagnoses but may also present with comorbidities including neurodiversity, substance misuse or cognitive differences. The successful applicant would be expected to work across these two services, however, there is flexibility as to how their time is split.

Come and work with us in the Garden of England where we combine exceptional professional development opportunities with a tremendous quality of life.

You will be joining friendly, passionate colleagues, rich in their diversity, who are committed to providing excellent care to our service users and their loved ones.
