Role: Material Planner

**Salary**: £Competitive

Location: Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, (DE13 8EN) - (Onsite)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00pm and Friday 07:30am to 12:30pm, 37 hours per week

Contract type: Permanent, Full-Time

What you will be doing
- Coordinate planning and control of supplier orders, schedules, and forecasts.
- Manage materials and support engineering change, project/program launch and run out with mínimal business impact.
- Generate and control supplier performance to achieve key performance indicators.
- Manage component availability issues, escalate, and communicate effectively to ensure closure and eliminate reoccurrence.
- Review forecast material requirements, report supply chain concerns/ability to meet customer orders, and implement inventory optimisation strategies.
- Deliver supply chain solutions in project teams, undertake other material planner activities as instructed, and maintain health and safety practices.

- Previous experience within a Planning role is desirable
- Able to work autonomously with strong planning and organisational skills
- Good problem-solving/negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to present information to all levels
- IT literate
