**Shift Pattern**: Days - Mon - Fri, with Occasional Weekend working required

**JOB PURPOSE**

Reporting to Site Engineering Leader, the role of the Maintenance Planner (MP) is to support the reduction of breakdown and maintenance costs by an effective maintenance programme, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and spare parts availability.

The MP is also responsible for ensuring full compliance to all legal and mandatory engineering requirements within the factory and to provide support in analysis to continually improve the equipment reliability and cost effectiveness of the Factory maintenance programme.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage the systems and processes for weekly and yearly engineering planning.
- Support the maintenance planning, assisting with assessment of appropriate resource availability and the tasks can occur without conflicting requirements.
- Ensure the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are updated and gap analysis is carried out on a regular basis to define improvement strategies for the area.
- Be involved on the PM (Professional Maintenance) pillar within UMS (Unilever Management System).
- Look to reduce frequency and time of PM schedules through improvements or loss reduction.
- Support the engineering stores in the spare parts management and availability.
- Manage assigned maintenance contracts for the site.
- Support the Site Engineering Leader in identifying safety statutory activities to be carried out within the factory departments and quality critical control points and ensure maintenance schedules is defined for each.
- Lead the CMMS and PM procedure on site.

**ALL ABOUT YOU**
- Recognised Apprenticeship (multi-skilled/cross skilled specific preferable) Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in relevant engineering maintenance field (or equivalent other qualifications relevant to this position
- Experience of working within Engineering in an FMCG environment.
- Good Mechanical/Electrical skill set.
- Strong team player who adopts a continuous improvement approach.
- Experience of CMMS utilisation and development
- Excellent communication skills.
