**Team Overview**

The Rural Research team sitswithin the Rural & Projects division, and is supported by the almost-limitless knowledge, resources and research skills within the national and international Savills network. You will be expected to liaise with your counterparts across the country and to contributeto knowledge exchange and business development throughout Savills both within and beyond the rural division.
The Rural Research Team is currently made up of one Director, three Associate Directors, three rural researchers, and four data specialists. Our team collectively manages knowledge and data on the rural economy and policy trends, and use this to help promotethe Rural business nationally and to enable Savills professionals to undertake their day-to-day roles on behalf of our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and monitor rural, agricultural and environmental policy which impacts farmers and landowners
- Provide detailed policy analysis including farm level financial modelling
- Plan and undertake organic research for our market leading thought leadership publications
- Prepare and deliver written and social content and presentations to a wide range of clients and stakeholders

**Key Skills**
- UK agricultural policy specialist, with awareness of national policy priorities and frameworks, environmental, sustainability and natural capital themes
- Excellent knowledge of farm business accounts, good understanding of rural economy issues, and general knowledge of wider property markets
- Clear communicator, with a positive outlook and ability to command attention
- Self-starter, who relishes challenges and strives for the best. Work to a high specification in order to improve and maintain quality
