**FABRICATOR WELDER**

**Job description**

We are an established and busy steel fabrication and erection company based in Dundee. We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced fabricators and welders to join our busy team. The successful applicants must be flexible and able to work independently and consistently to a high standard. The positions are full time and permanent with competitive rates of pay depending on experience.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Working from detailed fabrication drawings.
- Accurately measuring and working to tolerances.
- Working efficiently to meet deadlines.
- MIG welding to a high standard.
- Checking all work and completing Quality Assurance records.
- Keeping equipment in good working order and general good house-keeping.
- Working in a safe manner and complying with company policy and health and safety procedures.
- Any other duties as required by production management.

**Essential Skills / Qualifications**:

- Structural Steel fabrication experience.
- Structural steel MIG welding experience with suitable qualifications.
- Competent in the use of overhead cranes.
- Ability to work overtime when required.

**Experience**:

- 5 years (preferred)


**Salary**: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
