**Hours of Work**:
Monday - Friday shifts ranging 8am-6pm

Opportunity to do overtime evenings and weekends

**Length of Position**:
Permanent

**Purpose Of Role**:
Carries out their role and responsibilities at any of the sites that Alnwick Medical Group may provide services.

**Location**:
Alnwick Medical Group, including any sites where Alnwick Medical Group provides services.

**Person Specification**

Academic Qualifications
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- NVQ (or equivalent)
- NVQ in Customer Service, Health and Social Care or Business Management
- Ability to type 40 words per minute

Knowledge and Skills
- Proficient typing skills
- Knowledge of GP schedules, training requirements and commitments
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of SystmOne or other clinical systems

Experience
- Experience of letter writing
- Experience of independent and team working
- Experience with working with computers
- Previous telephony experience
- Skilled in the use of Outlook
- Experience working under indirect supervision
- Experience with working with medical records systems
- Experience working closely with Clinical Staff
- Experience working with Microsoft Teams

**Job Summary**

The **Administrator **will be responsible for all general administrative duties and reception duties within Alnwick Medical Group.

**Key tasks and Responsibilities**
- Carries out any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of the post.
- Be prepared to help with cover in all departments of the Administration Team.

**Key results/objectives**
- Contributes to ensuring patients are seen in a timely, caring and professional manner
- Supports equality and diversity of patients and colleagues
- Supports wider team with achieving their objectives where appropriate

- Ensures self-compliance with data protection laws and confidentiality agreements and that of the teams the post holder is responsible for

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.45 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
