Customer Service Advisor

InXpress are looking for a Customer Service Agent to join our small, friendly team. We want to hear from you if you have a passion for providing great customer service and going the extra miles for customer satisfaction. We are a fast growing dynamic international express and freight company, selling courier & freight solutions to SME businesses. Through our partnerships with carriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, we can offer customers reduced transportation costs, automated e-commerce solutions and first class customer service.
We are located in modern offices in Chessington.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. Deal directly with customers by telephone and electronically.
2. Respond promptly to customer enquiries.
3. Handle and resolve customer complaints.
4. Source freight costs and quote customers in conjunction with external sales.
5. Pro-actively contact customers.
6. Process job bookings.
7. Communicate opportunities, information or feedback gathered through customer contact to appropriate company staff.
8. Some day-to-day administration work to aid the sales team.
**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS**
1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required.
2. Confident telephone manner.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
4. Able to build rapport with customers.
5. Able to work as part of a team and also on own initiative.
6. Able to handle complaints, even when handling unpleasant customers.
7. Ability to juggle and prioritise workload in a busy environment.
8. Strong IT skills, being competent in Word, Excel and Outlook.
9. Willingness to work a flexible schedule to see a job through.
10. Previous freight experience is an advantage, although not essential as full training will be given.
