Experienced Logistics Coordinator required to undertake a fixed-term contract, initially until the end of the year.

As Logistics Coordinator, you’ll primarily be tasked with providing high-quality logistics support to the business and its projects.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

- Acting as the focal point for all logistics requirements.
- Arranging transport by road, sea, or air for deliveries within the UK and Internationally.
- Liaising with Project Teams to ensure any potential logistics issues are highlighted and considered at the earliest opportunity.
- Raising all commercial invoice paperwork and exporting/importing certification for shipments.
- Liaising with transport companies to arrange shipments.
- Ensuring deliveries arrive at location in a safe manner and reporting on damages or discrepancies to stakeholders.
- Raising necessary paperwork for offshore shipments.
- Organising couriers for delivery and collection of goods.
- Maintaining control and advising of all shipping costs.
- Ensuring all export and import documentation is maintained and held in compliance with customs and excise and all legal requirements.
- Experience in a similar Logistics role.
- Knowledge of road, marine and aviation legislative regulations and guidelines as well as Dangerous Goods (air and sea).
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to operational challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
