Head of Enterprise Service Architecture
Advantage Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our established technology client for a Head of Enterprise Service Architecture position.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing technology business who are offering Salary + car allowance + bonus + benefits (incl private medical etc).
The purpose of the role is to define and maintain the service architecture strategy and delivery, ensuring the business operates innovative, cost effective, high quality services to our internal and external customers. This includes the incorporation of newService Providers, new services to support both internal and external customers along with updating existing services to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
As the Head of Enterprise Service Architecture you will:

- Define and deliver Service Architecture strategy, ensuring alignment to other functions, including CTO strategic roadmaps, customer requirements, regulations, commercial etc
- Set out the service architecture policies required to drive effective outcomes for services.
- Be accountable for the production, quality and effectiveness of Enterprise level Service & Process Packages (packages include but are not limited to Service Designs, supporting process and procedures, system data, templates, work instructions, plans, RAID,knowledge articles and training material)
- Lead the Service Architects & training teams to deliver defined outcomes and objectives aligned to license conditions, customer requirements and stakeholder expectations
- Execute Service Assurance Strategy aligned to Service Architecture
- Accountable for overall team performance from a quality, efficiency and improvement perspective
- Define and deliver service assurance objectives that underpin the needs of the business
- Define and develop templates and standards for all team output within the Ecosystem
- Align Architecture deliverables to recognized standards, (eg, ISO9000, ISO20000, ISO15000, ISO27000)
- Clearly communicate and influence at a senior level
- Identify opportunities to remove waste, improve effectiveness and create efficiencies with a continuous improvement approach, creating and updating process and procedures where necessary and ensuring KPI's are suitably aligned
- define and manage regular reporting on all projects/initiatives: effectiveness, highlighting delays/risks - ensuring mitigations and controls are effective
- Drive internal customers to deliver their strategic outlook and ensure alignment to internal suppliers roadmaps.
- accountable for the leadership of the Architecture and Training teams
- acting as a senior member of the operations team
- lead service assurance training team, shaping them to underpin our assurance function
- ensure that all designs are aligned to service operations strategy and policy and are effectively communicated, controlled, trained and accepted by internal customers
- leading and moderating workshops with experts on the delivery of Service Management
- coaching and training of partners and clients; support team members or others within the
- ecosystem through knowledge sharing, coaching or 'buddying'
Skills and Experiences - Essential
- Must be a strong influencer across multiple functions and levels
- Demonstrable experience in the implementation various standards, including ISO20000, ISO22301, ISO9000
- Extensive experience in designing E-2-E services, developing and implementing sustainable and scale-able service management processes and procedures from scratch
- Customer focused with ability to identify and understand and deliver to the (internal and/or external) customer's needs
- Displays a high degree of knowledge and influence relating to all service management functions, including ITSM toolsets, ITIL functions, compliance, regulatory, commercial and contracts
- Strong vendor management experience and understanding 3rd party support contracts, proven ability to manage ambiguity, conflict and prioritization and align to operations strategy
- Creative problem solving and analysis skills with an ability to identify service gaps and develop and implement solutions meeting the needs of the business
- Strong background in the Design of Managed Services and Enterprise solution technology and services
- Able to convey complex messages and concepts to a broad audience of non-technical and technical groups
- Strong line management experience, looking at succession, development, improvements both within the direct and wider team
