Apprentice Administrator

VolkerLaser repairs, strengthens and waterproofs concrete and steel structures, offering a tailored package of specialist works to clients across the UK. Our structural solutions include bridge deck waterproofing, expansion joints, concrete repair and cathodic protection works, steel repair and strengthening work, carbon fibre and temporary works, jacking and bearing replacement. We also provide specialist lightweight decking and access solutions, as well as being specialists in long bridge and cable refurbishment.

We have a great opportunity for a Apprentice Administrator to join our head office in Worcester. You will be responsible to provide an effective administration function for the Major Projects Divisions and support to the wider Business Support team when required, ensuring control of all agreed admin and documentation in a manner consistent with VolkerLaser’s processes and procedures.

To provide administrative support to the business encouraging at all times the use of all relevant systems.

**About you**:

- At least 4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Help Cover effective reception service; answering phone calls, greeting visitors and passing messages to the project team as required.
- Prepare meeting rooms for important meetings, ensuring all required equipment/refreshments are available
- Assist the document controller and be able to provide holiday/sickness cover for key doc control task
- Process weekly hours, site waste management plans, lesson learnt, close calls and events, raise NCRs etc on behalf of the site teams
