**Position**:
In this role you will be providing support across a wide range of financial and administrative duties within the Finance team at Open GI, the Finance Assistant Apprentice will gain a Finance Assistant Level 3 AAT Diploma in Accounting. After the successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity to join the team as a permanent Finance Assistant.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Support the posting of purchase ledger invoices
- Support raising purchase orders for the business
- Post the credit card and employee expenses
- Support the creation of sales invoices
- Prepare payment requests on Lloyds Link business banking
- Post and allocate cash receipts onto ledger
- Maintain cash books for Open GI
- Complete month-end bank and balance sheet reconciliations with investigation of variances
- Assist in the statutory audit process including sample collation.
- Support the Credit Control Team

**Your Apprenticeship training**:

- Assistant accountant Level 3 provided by BPP

BPP apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry-experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

**Experience**
- GCSE or equivalent GCSE's including English and Maths (Grade C/5 or above) Essential
