An excellent opportunity for an audit professional that if interested could move into the corporate finance sector. If not the role can be exclusively audit based.

The role could be based in Rugby or Northampton, with WFH and felxible working options.

Due to acquisition, the firms audit has trebled resulting in a requirement for an Audit Senior or Manager. This aspect of the role will include planning, fieldwork and completion of external audit in a variety of sectors, managing and developing junior staffand supporting the Audit Partner and Director with their portfolio. We are looking for someone with the below skills and experience:

- Recent audit experience in a similar level role,
- Good up to date technical knowledge of ISA’s, FRS102, but also IFRS,
- Good IT skills,

oCCH experience (preferably),
- Client focused,
- Strong communication,
- Commercially aware,
- Team focused,
- Can manage deadlines,
- Can forward plan.

If you would like to explore moving into Corporate Finance this is an option as we expect audit could then take up approx. 70% of the role, allowing for 30% time to develop in CF and eventually moving into it full time.

**Corporate Finance**

There is a growing CF department with a huge amount of potential for our CF team. We are looking to bring in someone with an audit background to develop them in this area. The role will be supporting the CF Manager and Partner, working with the other membersof the team and will be gaining experience and exposure to:
The role will encompass a mix of buy-side and sell-side work, advising a variety of client types and include the following:

- Business valuations
- Strategic planning
- Evaluating and executing M&A and other investment opportunities for clients.
- Advising and preparing a business for sale.
- Deal structuring and other transaction related matters.
- Scope, prepare and review reports, information memorandum, and documents.
- Prepare and review financial models.
- Identify and recognise new projects and business opportunities.
- Support in the conversion of opportunities into chargeable work, including pitch participation
- Produce financial due diligence reports for finance providers and medium-sized SMEs.
- Review and analysis of accounting information to understand underlying performance
- Our CF team also undertake a material element of structural work that will give more tax exposure: EIS, SEIS, EMI, share-for-shares, to name but a few.
