Compliance Administrator

The Governance department ensures that the regulations set by the Regulated Body are complied with and the firm’s regulatory obligations are met. The compliance department assesses the risk inherent in the business, looks at ways to minimise this risk andlooks to harmonise business objectives with compliance and legal obligations.
We are looking for a Compliance Administrator to join our team in one of the following office locations: Amersham, London, Cheltenham, Liverpool or Leeds. This is a permanent position and it will offer scope for progression depending on your experience.We will also provide you with study support towards a relevant professional qualification.
The successful applicant will work under our Smartworking framework - sharing time between home and the office.
This is a two stage interview process. The first stage will be over MS Teams and the second stage will be face to face.
**Responsibilities**
Monitoring, assigning and responding to internal enquiries.
Assisting with audits - supporting audit preparation, including information security audits Assisting Legal Counsel with query management and supporting with responses to basic queries for example in relation to non-disclosure agreements
Assisting with internal reporting, including collating management information and drafting narrative reports Complaints handling, including logging, drafting / reviewing acknowledgements and certain complaint responses
Supporting the team with project based work, including supporting the production of project plans
Provide general administrative support to the Governance team
**Qualifications** Relevant Financial Services experience or a background relevant administration would be a benefit
Experience of working in an office within a team environment is beneficial
Experience of the Microsoft Office suite of software
An interest in studying towards the following qualifications would be desirable:
- CII Certificate of Financial Planning
- SII Diploma in Compliance
Minimum of GSCE or equivalent at grade "5" or "C" in Maths and English
