**OVERVIEW: EMPLOYABILITY TUTOR**

We are looking for an Employability Tutor with experience of delivering vocational qualifications, supporting learners through their learning Journey to successfully achieve qualifications within Adult Skills.

Based at a training centre, the role of a Tutor will be supporting learners undertaking employability, vocational and functional skills qualifications, including Maths and English to fully achieve timely and successfully to a high standard. You will also be required to visit learners in their workplace in the surrounding areas.

The role involves accredited delivery and assessment activities for several sectors, such as mental health awareness, understanding SEND, Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health, IAG, behaviours that challenge, safeguarding, digital skills, customer service and autism. If you have experience of any of the above, please apply Qualification range is up to and including level 3.

Additionally, it is required to plan lessons effectively and ensure that activities are differentiated towards individual learner needs. Alongside that you will need to deliver training, coaching and assessment that effectively assists learners to develop vocational skills to develop and prepare learners for and in work.

**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: EMPLOYABILITY TUTOR**
- Delivering to learners in a classroom environment and in the workplace
- Working to quality standards and completion of targets
- Assisting with the enrolment of learners and gaining referrals
- Organising and maintaining documentation of learner’s progress to a high standard

**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: EMPLOYABILITY TUTOR**
- Teaching qualification at level 3 or above
- Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 qualifications (or willing to work towards)
- Assessor qualification (or willing to work towards)
- Track record of delivering funded employability programs (including accredited and non
- accredited qualifications)
- Record of working with unemployed people on programs that facilitate positive outcomes
- History of working with people with complex barriers to progression
- Strong IT Skills
- Passion for people development
- Full UK Driving License and use of own vehicle

**SALARY; EMPLOYABILITY TUTOR**
- £28,000K - £30,000K Starting salary (depending on experience & qualifications

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
