Operations Support Co-Ordinator
Supporting Heavy & Regional Cranes and the Transport team through accurate and effective administration duties associated with HCD Special Projects & Wind Energy. Ensuring that Legal, Compliance and Training records are administered in line with both regulatory and industry guidelines.
Key Responsibilities of an Operations Support Co-Ordinator
- Responsible for the administration of Heavy Crane Special Projects including supporting Regional Cranes & Transport through collating, documenting and booking Operator/Driver/Vehicle passes/inductions, at all times checking that they are valid in line with Customer/Site specific requirements and Special Projects SOPs.
- Maintaining contact with Depots so that company and customer expectations are fully met and that all stakeholders are kept up do date with the latest site/customer requirements.
- Ensuring that all job changes and delays are tracked, recorded and accurately passed for invoicing.
- Accountable for the production and distribution of Operator/Driver Job Packs ensuring that all required information and site/customer specific SOPs are up to date.
- Assisting Operational Support, Heavy Cranes & Transport Department by providing cover in the event of holiday and absence.
- Liaise with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
- Maintain a sound knowledge of the company's products and services.
- Ensure returns to Head Office, Depots, Customer & Suppliers are accurate and on time.
- Supporting HCD & Transport with the booking of Hire Cars, Accommodation, Medicals, Training and Inductions.
- Continually seek to improve the way in which the role operates within the business to achieve its objectives.
Person specification
- Previous experience working in a busy customer focussed environment.
- Previous experience working in an administration capacity.
- Strong customer focus with an understanding of customer relationships and business process.
- IT literate and familiar with Microsoft office products
- Particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Able to able to communicate at all levels, both in verbal & written form.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good organisational skills with an excellent attention to detail.
- Adaptable, flexible and resilient to change.
