As a **Backhaul Planning Administrator **, you will support collaboration managers activity by building, updating, planning and reporting backhaul activities. Working with our planning teams to ensure the most efficient plan is produced. You will be managing both internal and external subcontractors to ensure we achieve customer satisfaction, KPI performance and ensure the use of Winsight and legal compliances are met.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Use Ortec to build, plan and report backhaul activities, along with allocating work on Ortec.
- Update spreadsheets to record and report and complete daily checks on all backhaul activities.
- Work with planning & LAT Team to ensure Winsight / debrief compliance are met.
- Attend daily calls/meetings on Teams.
- Drive collaboration between Wincanton and Sainsburys.
- Keep up to date with haulier rates and update system.
- Build strong working relationships with & become key point of contact for all suppliers.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure that subcontractors are paid correctly and on time.
- Cross train on all other activities in Derby to be able to support subcontraction across all contracts.

Your strong communication and proven experience in influencing stakeholders will be utilised daily within our opportunity, having excellent organisational skills to project manage and keep stakeholders within the operation, as well as customers updated. We’re looking for you to thrive in our team player working environment, with a positive can-do approach.
- Proven logístical planning expertise.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Proven experience in analysing data to produce the optimum plan.
- Knowledge of Ortec system and report writing. Understanding of haulage costs and the marketplace.
