- To develop a Short Breaks Bureau in Renfrewshire to offer Carers a wide range of personalised, flexible short breaks which have a positive outcome for Carers and their families.
- Increase the range of short Break opportunities to Carers.
- To support Carers seeking a break and matching them with the offers available from a wide range of options.

**Responsibilities**:

- To manage and develop a Short Breaks Bureau for Carers in Renfrewshire
- To lead a small team
- Responsibility for developing processes and procedures for administering and evaluating individual grants and short breaks initiatives for carers including initiatives such as Time to Live, Care Free Breaks, Scot Spirit and a Carers discount card.
- To support and develop a decision-making panel for short break grants.
- To manage a budget to purchase short term short breaks for Carers as advised by Adult Support Team through Adult Carers Support Plans
- To develop and expand the range of short break opportunities for Carers in Renfrewshire including the provision of a respitality service and Carers Discount card.
- Support Carers seeking a break and match them with the offers available from a range of short break options.
- Review existing short breaks mapping information and link into local and national mapping of services.
- Work in partnership with the private, independent, voluntary and statutory sector to develop and expand short break opportunities for Carers.
- Develop and build partnerships with commercial companies within the Hospitality, Tourism, Leisure Industry and local organisations and businesses to increase short break opportunities.
- Develop a range of mediums to make information available to Carers on available short breaks.
- Develop strong links with partner organisations to inform professionals of short break opportunities/grants available and referral/access routes.

Responsible for developing processes and systems to record, evaluate and evidence the impact of short breaks for carers.
- Gather and share carer feedback and experiences of short breaks and highlight outcomes achieved
- Responsible for providing regular reports on all aspects of the Bureau’s development to management, Board and funders
