**Salary**: £43,371

**What you’ll be doing**:
- Leading all aspects of the planning and execution of the overall proposal development plan, instilling a positive team culture throughout
- Developing all proposal development materials including but not limited to: proposal outline, compliance matrix, proposal management plan, proposal kick-off meeting materials, and content plans
- Ensuring that the Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements are identified and addressed, determining appropriate proposal document structure and supporting content plan development activities ensuring customer requirements are reflected in submission documentation
- Supporting the Proposal Kick-off Meeting and facilitating Colour Reviews and/or strategy sessions and training sessions to assure Proposal quality and compliance, together with consistency across the Proposal and associated plans and review material
- Identifying and implementing new business winning improvement processes where applicable to ensure the bid team is continually improving
- Facilitate operation of the Business Winning Centre, liaising with front of house, facilities, security and other suppliers as required to ensure smooth running of day to day operations
**Your skills and experiences**:
- Experience of the competitive bidding environment is desirable but not essential
- Effective communications skills both written and verbal, with experience of proof reading and editing
- Effective computer skills: Microsoft Office Software and experience with preparation of schedules and plans
- Experience within an Aerospace and / or the Manufacturing industry would be advantageous

**The Multifunctional Bid team**:
As a Bid and Proposals Officer, you will be supporting the multifunctional bid team through all bid and proposal activities, contributing to the development and execution of the proposal itself.This role will provide you with visibility of campaign team structure while integrating with other functions. There will also be opportunities available within the function or wider business.
