**Salary**:£32,000+ Depending on experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Assist the Cargo Operations Team with day-to-day tasks
- Basic administration duties; such as processing invoices, maintaining spreadsheets etc.
- Maintaining and updating the warehousing infrastructure and processes/procedures as required by the business, operating warehousing processes to meet agreed service levels, as well as understanding the key issues in relation to transport management
- Cargo Operations Clerk will interface with key stakeholders both inside and outside of the Supply Chain, and appreciate the impacts of logistics decisions on the Supply Chain as a whole
- Responsible for all Cargo documentation. Including manifests, Airway Bills, dangerous goods acceptance paperwork, the creation of Consignment Security Declarations and driver security checks
- Creation / Input of Import/Export entries
- Production of Load Information Reports in accordance with weight and balance of the Aircraft
- Ensure the ITSF remains compliant within UKBF Regulation and UK Law
- Seek out opportunities for continuous improvement, including automation, process improvement and consumption management

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential:

- Confident in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience of data entry
- Great organisational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement positively new ideas proposed by others, suggesting adaptations where this will lead to further improvements
- Highly Organized with a willingness to learn and develop

Desirable:

- Dangerous Goods by Air qualified to Acceptance Level (Category 6)
- Knowledge of Imports process including Descartes ICS and Pentant System
- Experience of working within freight forwarding
