**Job Description**:
Your role in the team
The UK is IG Group's biggest market by revenues, and IG is the biggest brand in the UK leveraged trading sector (by revenues). As such this is a prominent role in the UK team and the wider company. It sets the brand tone for the organisation and influences marketing choices in all our markets. The role reports to the UK Marketing Director and it is a critical role for the UK marketing leadership team. The UK is also a huge opportunity for IG. We start from a position of strength but we have opportunities to diversify into adjacent products; challenge other brands with higher customer volumes (but lower revenues); and grow engagement with our existing, loyal base. This role is all about developing and executing on that growth opportunity.
What you’ll do
- Own the UK brand identity, including a multi-million pound media budget and creative agency relationships (internal and external)
- Build on our 'In the market for more' brand strategy for the UK market: evolving, shaping and executing on communications across all brand channels, including our ECB sponsorship
- Collaborate with leaders of our acquisition, organic growth and customer engagement channels to drive integrated communications that support and enhance the brand strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, compliance, sales) to ensure the seamless execution of brand and communication efforts within overall business strategies
- Manage UK brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all channels
- Monitor and analyse brand performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth

What you’ll need for this role
- Proven track record of success in a senior brand or communication role - Extensive experience in developing and executing integrated brand and communication strategies that drive business results and market share growth
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences
- Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to derive actionable insights from market research, brand performance data, and competitor analysis - Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and influence colleagues both in your own team and across the organisation
- Collaborative and cross-functional working style, with the ability to partner effectively with various teams and stakeholders, including senior executives
- Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and practices in marketing
