Bank Support Workers are required for a new care package supporting a male adult with Cerebral Palsy and learning difficulties and assisting with all aspects of personal care and night routine.

Both day and waking night shifts are required as this is a 24-hour care package.

We are currently looking for support workers in the Grimsby and Cleethorpes area who are passionate about support, have a good understanding of working with learning disability, non-verbal clients and believe in supporting people as they would want their closest loved ones.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a plan to support the client in a transition to his own home from a community shared living setting.

As well as care and support, you will be trained by treating therapists once appointed to be able to carry out a rehabilitation programme. The therapy team once appointed will include an Occupational Therapist (OT), Neuro Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Music Therapist and a Massage Therapist.

Rates of pay: Monday to Friday £15.00 per hour

Saturday and Sunday £16.00 an hour

Bank holidays £30.00 per hour

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training. All training will be provided.
