Alliance Norse presents is our latest joint venture with High Peak Borough Council and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council. We specialise in providing repairs and maintenance across the Councils’ properties, caretaking and cleaning services as wellas offering an improved housing repairs service. We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our well-equipped team in Buxton on a full-time permanent basis.

**The Role**:
As a Project Manager you are responsible for the planning, management, coordination, and financial control of a range of contracts and projects including repairs, upgrades, and general maintenance. You will be required to oversee projects to ensure desiredoutcomes are achieved, within agreed timescales, strict set budgets, using defined resources, to a very high standards of both safety and quality. Duties will therefore consist of:

- Providing advice and governance on the management of projects. This will include providing regular communications / briefings for stakeholders, at all levels within Alliance Norse.
- Managing the project budget, monitoring costs against realised budgets through the full project cycle. Continually monitor the profitability of the project(s), ensuring due diligence and proactively take corrective action where required.
- Undertake or procure feasibility studies, and all required consultants (e.g., asbestos, CDM, Building Control, Environmental consultants),
- To undertake regular site inspections and manage rigorous health and safety throughout the project with excellent record keeping from inception to completion.
- Recognised Building/construction qualification minimum of HNC/HND in building construction
- Good knowledge of current construction guidelines including CDM, Building Control Regulations etc.
- Proven working experience in Construction project management, commercially aware with a sound knowledge of business objectives
- Excellent CDM and Health and Safety knowledge.
- Ability to produce accurate timely management record and information.
- Full UK Drivers Licence to meet travel requirements of the role
