The Central HR Coordinator will report into the Head of HR and will be the first point of contact for any HR related queries such as payroll, HR Compliance, reporting and maintenance with internal and external systems, contract and other colleague changes. This role is customer focussed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst remaining close to the detail and working to achieve a positive colleague experience.

**What you'll be working**:

- Working 5 days a week
- 37.5 Hrs per week
- Monday to Friday
- Home based, with occasional UK travel to sites and offices.

**What you'll be doing**:
The first point of contact for colleagues and line managers and will drive a positive colleague experience; supporting and signposting.
- Administration and coordination tasks (e.g. monthly payroll administration, minute taking, maintenance of OpenHR/CloudHR and employee files, compliance and auditing, references, org charts, bonus letters and other employee related administration).
- Revalidation Co-ordinator for Group Medical Officer and Lead Appraiser - coordinating appraisals and revalidation for Doctors in a timely manner, ensuring accurate records are kept and Doctors are fully compliant; preparing annual timetable for Appraisers, ensuring Appraiser training is up to date, arranging Appraiser networking meetings; and general administration for Group Medical Officer in relation to Doctors employment.
- Maintenance of the life assurance scheme data & process death in service benefits over whole group, including contacting beneficiaries, completing claims, and liaising with insurers.
- Provide information to the Private Medical Insurer of new starters and leavers.
- Prepare weekly Security Watchdog status reports, liaising with colleagues, sites and regional HR colleagues to ensure all colleagues are compliant.
- Providing accurate and timely reports information on a regular basis to internal colleagues and departments.
- Support with employee relations administration.
- Maintain the data for the external engagement survey provider and rewards provider.
- Other administration tasks
- Knowledge of basic employment law (specifically compliance of Right to Work) and HR / Payroll practices.
- Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills with a commitment to delivering high level customer service.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise own workload.
- Independent, self-motivated and organised; with an ability to work as part of a team and individually.
- Attention to detail is essential together with comfort in handling a wide range of data (including sensitive and personal information).
- Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.
- An enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn and has a flexible approach.

**What you'll have**:
Experience of the health and care / regulated sector desirable but not essential.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong administrator with experience managing a high volume workload.
- Excellent computer skills with experience of HR database advantageous.
- Previous experience working in a HR team desirable but not essential
