**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Locate missing case notes utilizing PAS (uncoded episodes) from wards, departments, medical secretaries, other sites and hospitals.
- Identify the location of patient records, safely transport patient records and ensure return of records to the correct location.
- Run PAS reports on a regular basis to identify outstanding un-coded episodes and circulate via an excel spreadsheet to the department.
- Undertake basic data entry duties to support the clinical coding process.
- Communicate on a daily basis with all health care professionals regarding case note sourcing and retrieval.
- Manage telephone queries in a timely manner, recording telephone calls into the Department.
- Assist in the efficient flow of data into the department; retrieve information as requested from other wards/departments across the hospital

- Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Previous experience in similar role
- NHS System Knowledge
- PAS and File Tracker System
- Data Entry Experience
