While Burgers and Fries are what we’re famous for, we know that it’s crucial that our restaurant teams have the right tools to allow the smooth and efficient running of our restaurants and we know that the right technology goes a long way in supporting these goals - which is why we’re looking for a **Head of IT Delivery** to join the team in the UK

**Role Summary**
- As the **Head of IT Delivery**, you’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of all IT projects - the scope of the role is broad - but make no mistake, it’s a ‘very hands on’ role.
- You’ll work closely with the with internal departments and the IT Director to gather business requirements, produce project plans, co-ordinate UAT and execute project rollout.
- You’ll be responsible managing and prioritising all change requests into the IT team.
- You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining standard deployment processes for recurring tasks (e.g. new store openings, kiosk retro-fits etc)
- You’ll take the lead on ensuring that IT support processes for our restaurants are clear and effective.
- You’ll be escalation point when internal escalation is not enough, or multiple partners need to be involved.
- You’ll support our local IT managers with supplier management, escalations, and recurring issues.
- You will work closely with the data team to facilitate and translate business requirement to stakeholders.
- You’ll form part of the weekend support rota.

**To be successful, you’ll need to demonstrate that**:

- You have a degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a customer focused, service led business in restaurants or retail.
- You have good knowledge of IT business solutions, preferably in a restaurant or retail setup.
- You have a strong background in data governance.
- You can align Policies, Requirements & Controls between systems.
- You have strong project management and team coordination skills.
- You feel comfortable with IT service management and continuous service improvement.
- You understand IT architecture at a level where you can analyse information flows between systems.
- You’ll need strong organisational and leadership skills, and you’ll feel comfortable taking the overall responsibility for all IT project deliverables
- If things go wrong, you’ll adopt a pragmatic and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Five Guys is a growing business, so travel will be required to locations across the UK and occasionally to the other locations of the group (France, Spain, Germany)
- You will be comfortable working collaboratively with stakeholders, engage appropriately with stakeholders throughout to establish buy-in and adoption of project.
- You can drive processes to ensure accurate circulation of data to our platform.
