Technology Lead for Digital Learning

**Job Description**:
**We have an excellent permanent Technology Lead for Digital Learning job opportunity.**
**Required Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience**
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualifications) plus substantial work experience in a relevant technical/scientific and/or management/supervisory role in a specialist area, plus higher degree where appropriate.
- Authoritative and advanced technical expertise in a relevant technical, professional or functional specialism.
- A passion and knowledge for the EdTech sector - Experience within the education sector with a strong digital user-focus.
- An understanding of the relevant learning technologies and associated product development practices.
- Previous experience of making tools/product decisions and creating a compelling vision based on research, usage data, or predictions of either.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and work with them to understand, clarify and define their needs into practical, deliverable solutions.
- Experience of development and product life-cycle management including an understanding of agile methodology.
- Ability to make a compelling and fully costed business case and deliver within the agreed budget parameters.
- Ability to understand and prioritise the needs of various stakeholders.
- Experience of managing commercial and contractual relationships with third party suppliers.
- Experience of agile working within a product-based environment.
- Team leadership and management of small delivery and support teams.
- Demonstrable professional development through a series of progressively more demanding and influential work roles.
- Experience of championing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in own work area.
