We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Delivery Officer to join our Programme Management Team to support the delivery of our Major Works and planned investment Projects. This could be anything from roofs, windows, Gas and electrical, kitchen and bathroom refits to Building safety and Retrofit works and much more. You’ll support our experienced Project Managers on the larger projects, but we’ll also ask you to manage some smaller projects on your own. **Main job responsibilities**:

- Support the Project Managers to ensure contractors are delivering our major works projects in line with contractual requirements.
- Take the lead on smaller projects, independently managing contractors, reporting on and challenging contractor performance when required.
- Collaborate in developing, designing, procuring and administering projects; owing and carrying out elements of these functions under direction.
- Deliver successful relationship management with contractors, consultants and supply chain partners.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager with asbestos, Building Safety & planned investment works, planning permission and statutory approval data requirements and compliance.
- Collaborate with Project Managers in providing specialist expert advice.

**We're looking for someone who has**:

- A construction or building related qualification at HNC level or qualified by substantial recent relevant experience.
- Experience of managing construction projects.
- Experience of working with and managing contractors.
- Experience working with customers.
- Excellent IT Skills, in particular the ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A thorough understanding of health and safety legislation
