**Brief Description**:
The role of the Liability Adviser is to deliver advice on Network Rail’s statutory and contractual obligations for existing and proposed infrastructure, through reviewing and interpreting historic legal documents and identifying and implementing solutions that aim to reduce the Company’s liability and expenditure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and with all necessary consents in place.

The role of the Adviser is incredibly varied and includes liaising with internal stakeholders such as Asset Protection, Property, Level Crossing’s and the Structures team, to leading on negotiations with external stakeholder such and landowners and Highway Authorities in order to reduce Network Rail’s liability.

**Location can be Cardiff, Swindon or Bristol.**
