**Due to expansion of the team, there are 3 roles on offer, 2 are permanent roles and one is a Fixed Term Contract role for 12 months. These roles offers a starting salary of £23,500 (plus an incentive scheme where you can earn between £4,600 - £6,900 annually); 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and 6% pension (increasing to 11% after 1 year of service) Based within Cardiff Capital Quarter, this role combines home working and office based (a max of 5-8 days a month in the office).**

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic sales adviser (known internally as Application Advisers) to join our Which? Trusted Traders team in Cardiff.

Which? **Trusted Traders** is an endorsement scheme that recognises reputable traders in the home improvement and motor industries. We're here to raise industry standards and support consumers with finding a local trustworthy trader. We need passionate sales people to join our team and help more businesses become endorsed.

**About the role**

You will be the first point of contact for businesses looking to join Which? Trusted Traders, sharing the features and benefits of the scheme and explaining the process for joining.

You will proactively manage a pipeline of both cold and warm leads and will be responsible for selling the service over the phone in order to meet your monthly sales targets. Coaching is a key focus for us and you will be part of a wider sales team who work closely together to share knowledge and advice.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Proactively making outbound calls to warm and cold leads as well as dealing with incoming calls from businesses looking to join.
- Develop an effective working knowledge of the market and competitors as well as participate in regular performance coaching to enhance your sales pitch and maximise every sales opportunity

**About you**

Consumers are at the heart of what we do and you will have a track record of providing friendly, professional and quality focused customer service.

Sales experience isn't essential but you're eager to learn, can pick up new tasks effectively and are enthusiastic. You love a challenge and performing under pressure to achieve targets.

You'll be proactive in everything you do and a great problem solver with a collaborative approach. You have the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with a wide range of audiences to a very high standard and have a track record in building effective relationships.

Our interview process usually involves 2 stages:

- Sometimes a chat with a recruiter by phone (typically 30 minutes), followed by
- An interview on Google Meet (approximately 45-90 minutes) consisting of values and experience-based competency questions and a role related task on a laptop
- On some occasions there may be a second interview on Google Meet with values and experience-based competency questions (approximately 30-60 minutes)
