Job Description: Flooring Installer

**Duties**:

- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Remove old flooring and prepare the subfloor for installation
- Install various types of flooring, such as carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, or tile
- Use tools and equipment, such as power saws, nail guns, and adhesive applicators, to complete installations
- Ensure proper alignment and positioning of flooring materials
- Trim and finish edges of flooring materials for a clean and professional look
- Clean up work area and remove any debris or waste materials

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a flooring installer is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques
- Ability to accurately measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Proficient in using tools and equipment commonly used in flooring installation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting heavy objects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues during installations

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Plymouth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
