**Mental Health Support Workers - Day & Night Shifts available**

Venture People offer specialist support to clients living with a mental health diagnosis. Our accommodation services often work with clients on discharge from other mental health services and provide essential support enabling our clients to progress to independent living and re-integrate into their local communities, helping to prevent crisis and re-admission.

Some of the work will be challenging, but exceptionally rewarding.

Our East Sussex services operate in **Seaford and Eastbourne** and we are seeking staff on both sites - please advise if you have a preference.

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Working or lived experience assisting a person with mental health diagnosis or challenging behaviours.
- Resilience - able to persevere when faced with challenging or difficult situations/people.
- Flexible and able to adapt to different client needs.
- Comfortable working as part of a Multidisciplinary Team.
- Able to work early/late or Night Shifts across a 7-day rota.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

We provide bespoke, community-based support to individuals with a complex need; including a mental health diagnosis, neurodiversity, or may have endured trauma.

The people we support may have spent an extended period in hospital or other setting, therefore we utilise a person-centred approach; empowering individuals to become as independent as possible within their own home.
