About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at SuperCare Residential. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support and care to young people, including key working and daily activities.
  • Work in partnership with young people, their social workers, and other relevant agencies to ensure their needs are met.
  • Coordinate and review care plans for young people transitioning to adulthood and greater independence.
  • Take responsibility for the upkeep of the establishment, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
  • Conduct administrative tasks and record-keeping associated with key working responsibilities.
  • Support young people in developing life skills, independence, and self-advocacy.
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns and report them effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people in an Ofsted-regulated environment.
  • Level 3 CYPW or above (or currently working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care).
  • Ability to drive.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
