**The Executive Assistant role**:
Are you a strong organiser, administrator and business partner with experience of providing strategic support at senior executive level? If you are a highly organised problem solver, with the ability to work with a high level of autonomy, discretion and initiative, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Market Harborough Building Society are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide high quality, tactical and strategic administrative and business support for the CEO and Directors. You will be more than just an Assistant, you will be a genuine business partner to the Executives, supporting the Chief Executive and the Executive Team to deliver the Thrive agenda across colleagues, customers and communities.

**Key responsibilities of the Executive Assistant include**:

- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a point of contact for the CEO, Executive Directors and Non-Executive Directors and providing secretarial support
- Taking accountability for the rolling agenda, outstanding actions and associated papers of Boards and Committees
- Preparing, drafting, editing and proof-reading highly sensitive written reports and documents
- Proactively planning and preparing for meetings, including agenda and logistics, preparation of Board Papers and recording of minutes and actions, where required
- Attending meetings where required to capture, drive and track actions
- Design of ad hoc strategic events and relevant strategic research to present to Exec Directors

**Essential criteria for the Executive Assistant role**:

- Experience of providing forward-thinking executive support incl. arranging and managing Board meetings, minute taking and preparing / writing documents
- Proven experience of working with internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure the highest quality service experience
- Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent skill in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Teams

This is a great opportunity for someone to undertake an executive business partner role to the CEO and the Board of the Market Harborough Building Society. They currently have a flexible hybrid working policy in place, however you must be prepared to travel regularly to the office, often dictated by the movements of the CEO and sometimes at short notice.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
