I am recruiting for an IT Support Desk Engineer to work for a warm and welcoming IT business based in Northeast Birmingham. This will require an experienced Customer Service individual with a technical background and will be hybrid working.
**Responsibilities/duties**:

- Logging and updating Support Tickets for Customer Issues
- Escalating Support Ticket to senior members of the support desk
- Remote support and maintenance across customers PCs
- Analysing Calls
- Repairing faulty laptops and PCs

**For this position you will need the following Experience**:

- Must have 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Able to raise and update IT issues
- Technical Knowledge
- Customer focused skills
- Microsoft Certification (desired)

**Technical Knowledge that is required for the role**:

- Windows 10 - Installation, Configuration & Troubleshooting
- Windows Server - Active Directory, Group Policy, Permissions etc
- Microsoft 365 - Admin (Create Users, Assign Licenses, Mailbox Permissions etc) & Troubleshooting
- Microsoft Office - Installation & Troubleshooting
- Backup Solutions - Configuration & Troubleshooting
- Anti-Virus - Configuration & Troubleshooting
- Networking - TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, troubleshooting
- Hyper-V - Admin & Troubleshooting (desirable)
- WiFi - Ubiquiti (desirable)
- Firewalls - SonicWall (desirable)
- SQL Management (desirable)
- PowerShell (desirable)

**Package**:

- Salary based on experience.
- Full-time (8:30am till 5:30pm Monday to Friday)
- Work Location: Office & Home
- 20 Days Annual Leave + Statutory + Christmas Shutdown, increasing to a maximum of 26 Days + Birthday Leave (based on length of service)
