Sales Ledger Assistant

A leading Media company is looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Assistant to join their busy team.
This highly regarded and very successful company operates within the TV & Entertainment sector and is an established powerhouse in the sales and licensing of TV Formats and Media content.
Reporting to the AR Manager this role will have responsibility for their own maintaining customer accounts and be required to complete everything from invoicing through to debt chasing, alongside managing the relationships from a debtor perspective

**Responsibilities of the role include**:
- Manage the cashbook, updating on a daily basis
- Assist with the management of the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring customer information is correct and up to date
- Assist with the invoicing and billing to customers as required
- Maintain customer accounts, ensuring all incoming monies are allocated correctly
- Assist with the collection of money owed, ensuring the debtors are kept to a minimum and overdue invoices are escalated as required
- Ensure all tax, including VAT and Withholding Tax are accurate on the system and adjustments are made accordingly.
- Preparation of debtor reports
- Previous experience of sales ledger/AR, ideally gained within a TV, Media or similar environment
- Proven experience of chasing debts with successful results
- Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build good working relationships and able to interact with people of all levels
- Self-starter, deadline drive and with good attention to detail
- Strong team player but also able to work under own initiative and take responsibility for your own workload
