**Role responsibilities -**:

- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Provide administrative support to the healthcare team as needed

**Qualifications -**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Knowledge of ophthalmology is a plus
- Knowledge of using social media and marketing is a plus

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: £13.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
