**Research Assistant**: £30,619 to £32,411 per annum
**Research Associate**: £33,348 to £35,308 per annum

The Role
The current project aims to explore the role of memory T cells in responses to SARS-CoV-2 infection and vaccination. You will use high dimensional flow cytometry techniques such as Cytek Aurora, to characterise immune memory from blood and upper airway samples and utilize computational analysis techniques from locally established data analyses pipelines. There will be the opportunity to collaborate with partners to develop T cell/airway epithelial co-culture models to explore T cell function at immunologically relevant sites. Understanding better the function of T cell memory following vaccination and infection will better inform future vaccination strategies, not only for COVID-19 but also for future emerging pathogens.
This post is full time and fixed term for a period of 18 months.
