We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the Hymans Robertson team in Glasgow.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be a focused individual who can work effectively as part of a team as well as possessing the ability to use your own initiative when required, you will have strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks. You should be enthusiastic and strive to produce quality work.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Processing of end-to-end monthly payroll
- Assisting with calculation and submission of monthly and tax year end PAYE to HMRC
- Processing payroll benefits
- Dealing with questions, queries, and requests in relation to payroll, pensions, and benefits
- Ensuring adherence to processes, procedures & controls
- Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Month end reporting
- Cover and ability to deputise for the Payroll Manager

Skills & Experience:

- CIPP qualification desirable
- Practical payroll experience - ability to explain PAYE and calculations
- RTI and auto-enrolment exposure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient user of payroll systems
- Problem Solving
- System improvements
- Proficiency in Microsoft excel essential
- Experience of Access People XD advantageous
