We have a new opportunity to become our next part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk. You will assist the Financial Operations Manager with specific duties relating to the Purchase Ledger Supplier Payments. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all purchase transactions, ensuring timely payments to suppliers, and reconciling invoices with purchase orders.

**The Role**
Receive and process purchase invoices for payments, ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to payment schedules.
Process both domestic and international payments, following established procedures and complying with regulatory requirements.
Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
Perform general accounts-related duties, such as maintaining financial records, assisting with month-end procedures, and providing support during audits.
Collaborate with various departments to resolve invoice-related queries, including audit, tax, and stock-related matters.
Safely shred and distribute legal documents following company policies and legal requirements.
Batch and scan invoices associated paperwork for efficient record-keeping and document management.
Facilitate fund transfers between company bank accounts to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
Any other related duties, not specified above, as outlined by your Line Manager.

Demonstrated experience of using Excel in a work environment.
Highly numerate.
Excellent organisational skills.
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
Used to working as part of a team.
