**The Role**:
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations
- Investigating and correcting supplier accounts for debit balances and duplicate payments, requesting refunds where necessary
- Supporting the team with on-boarding new suppliers
- Actively build strong relationships with suppliers
- Acting as workflow administrator for PO authorisations, reviewing and ensuring timely processing, including liaison with authorisers, and completing updates where appropriate
- Preparing monthly payment run reports for approval, and action payments by BACs
- Issuing remittance advices to suppliers
- Processing of receipts and submissions from Payment card holders.
**Key Requirements**
- Strong Accounts Payable experience ideally within a group / matrix organisation
- Great systems experience and a confident user of MS Excel
- Experience in automated PO processing would be an advantage
- AAT qualified would be ideal but not essential.
