**Job title**: Bookkeeper / Payroll assistant

**Hours and times**:35hrs per week Monday - Friday

**Education**:GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Work Location**: Cheadle Village - Hybrid working available.

**Main duties include**:

- Handle payroll processing, calculations and filings to HMRC
- Auto enrolment administration
- Completion of monthly CIS return and verifications
- P11d benefits reporting and calculations.
- Resolve any queries and issues related to payroll
- Proficient with Excel
- Bookkeeping of client’s records and VAT returns, to completion from invoices and bank statements using Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or Excel
- Other bookkeeping tasks as required.

**Key Experience and Qualities**:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper / Payroll administrator (Minimum 2 years)
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and helpful.
