**Hours **Full Time (Part Time available)

**Work for an Outstanding rated CQC provider who operates in the BNES area.**

**We are looking to build a team to support a young lady who requires support to be able to live independently in the community in the Radstock area, we also have an additional opportunity in Keynsham, this is a recent new referral and therefore there is a great opportunity to be part of a specialist team from the outset.**

**The Role**

For this position you must have a background in care and support, and also you will be able to work on your own initiative and also have an engaging personality, but also be able to deal with situations that may be of a challenge.

Understanding how to provide a level of consistency to ensure that situations do not escalate and understanding what trigger points could take place are essential, and ultimately if situations do become a challenge, knowing how to deal in these circumstances is crucial, but the focus is very much on this situation not happening.

As a provider we support the "low arousal" approach and therefore you would be trained in strategies that reduce stress, fear and frustration and seeks to prevent aggression and crisis situations.

This young lady is very resourceful and intelligent but she does have a complex diagnosis which can result in behaviour's that can challenge, and therefore having a personality and understanding of the challenges that can occur in this situation is crucial.

An understanding of ADHD, Autism and EUPD (Emotionally unstable personality disorder) is advantageous, as is the ability to deal with challenging situations.

**Hours**

We will be providing support on a 24/7basis with a staff ration of two to one, and therefore we are looking to build a team who can play a part in providing support on a rotational basis.

We require both day staff and also waking night staff

It is anticipated that the shifts will be 12 hour shifts, likely to be starting at 8am to 8pm

We are proposing that the roster works on a three days a week approach and therefore the contracts will be 36 hours per week for three full days, there is the opportunity to work less on a part time basis, but all roles would involve alternate weekend working

**Benefits/Package**
- Industry and bespoke training plan - tailored to meet the needs of the individuals you support
- Career Development Opportunities
- Full Support and Supervision
- Mileage reimbursement - increased recently to support the recent fuel price increases
- Flexible work patterns
- Rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to an individual’s life
- Working for an outstanding CQC rated provider

Here at CJP Outreach services we support a number of amazing individuals, who all live life to the full and who require care and support to access the community and to fulfil their lives.

We support a range of people, and working for CJP you will be supporting both Adults and Children in the community, this will be for a minimum of one hour, but in general our support is in blocks of hours.

We work to empower the people we support to live a fulfilled life, and we ensure that we develop whole life plans that support in so many ways.

You will find that no two days are the same, one day you may be supporting someone to access the community, the next day you could be supporting someone to work, and then to various activities like sporting events, day trips, going to the park and much more.

The majority of the work we undertake is in the Halifax area and we work in tight geographical areas to reduce travel time and also mileage and petrol costs.

There is an expectation that you are able to support on a weekend and in an evening, but we work on an alternate weekend basis, but the majority of the support we provide is through the day.

We value our employees and we have one of the lowest turnover rates in the sector, because we ensure that we train, support and match people we recruit with the people we support, and therefore work on developing long term relationships that provide consistency and support, which are key elements of been an outstanding care and support provider
