We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our expanding Operations Department.

Advent Bioservices is a growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) providing GMP manufacturing of ATMPs and related products, process development and ancillary services. We support the development of complex, breakthrough therapies for a globally diverse market. We are at the forefront of revolutionary medicine in which life-threatening diseases are treated using advanced therapy medicinal products.

Job Summary

The development and manufacture of ATMPs involves a complex and highly regulated supply chain that requires specialised knowledge and expertise. Based in Sawston, the Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the supply chain needs of the business including logistics and procurement.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Placing purchase orders, tracking progress to ensure timely delivery and proactively addressing any delays.
- Monitoring inventory to ensure adequate supply for forecast demands.
- Coordinating shipments, customs clearance, and distribution activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Managing relationships with logistics partners to Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain.
- Working with the Quality team to ensure effective supplier oversight and qualification.
- Adhering to quality control processes to minimise risk of product contamination, or other quality related issues.
- Maintaining accurate documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Keeping up to date with changes in regulations related to procurement and logistics.
- Collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of ATMPs.
- Deputise for the Supply Chain Lead and must be able to work autonomously.
- Experience in supply chain management, logistics or related field. Preferably with ATMPs (highly desirable) or in the biotech industry.
- Experience of GMP and GDP is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and negotiation skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
