Sandringham ward is a warm welcoming and supportive ward for both the staff and our patients.

We expect staff to partake in on going assessments of service users with the wards multi-disciplinary team.

Plan, deliver and evaluate service users’ needs using recovery plans, and all other essential

CPA documents in conjunction with a registered professional

Able to work independently on own initiative to meet the needs of services users

Deliver person centred care and work towards a successful discharge from the ward in a timely and safe manner

Liaise with external organisations and community teams to ensure partnership working to provide holistic care.

Opportunity to develop especially within the scope of medication management and full support towards the Nursing Pathway.

Responsibility for actively participating as a key member of the clinical team for providing quality services for an identified client group under the supervision of a registered professional.

Demonstrate an attitude which respects and values service users and their carers.

Be accountable and work autonomously within clearly defined boundaries of the Assistant

Practitioner competencies and carry out specific delegated tasks. This may include extended roles delegated by a registered professional.

We would expect you to be working alongside registered nurses daily, sometimes taking a lead role in supervising other staff members.

We expect you to work on your own initiative and contribute towards the provision of a high quality of care towards our patients

We expect you to attend doctors ward rounds

We expect you to attend patients 117 meetings, discharge planning meetings and 72-hour admission meetings You need to have a knowledge of the mental health act You need to document and complete all relevant forms required on Lorenzo.
