**MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR**

**WIDNES, CHESHIRE, UK**

As part of its continued expansion, Evove is seeking a highly capable Manufacturing Supervisor to join our dynamic and innovative team. Evove will shortly be setting up new manufacturing premises in Widnes, Cheshire, in order to scale up the manufacturing of its newly developed membrane products.

The Manufacturing Supervisor will be joining the business at the start of the fit out of the new premises. This is an exciting opportunity to help set up new membrane product manufacture using both traditional techniques and highly innovative 3D printing techniques.

The new manufacturing site will become a blueprint for how to manufacture Evove’s advanced membrane manufacturing technologies. This will be the showcase location used to promote the technology globally, leading to anticipated roll out of such facilities around the world.

The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility. They will coordinate, plan, and direct all the activities that go into the production process. The Manufacturing Supervisor will run the plant and oversee specific areas of the production process.

**Key roles and responsibilities**:

- Set up and manage the manufacturing equipment in a safe environment
- Direct an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials
- Recruit and manage a manufacturing team
- Be the lead site supervisor
- Adopt best in class manufacturing techniques to ensure timeliness, safety, efficiency and quality of production process
- Write production reports and report progress to colleagues
- Monitor the process, and look for opportunities to improve operations
- Supervise and delegate tasks
- Communicate with other departments
- FLT and driving licence
- Direct site tours for international visitors and be able to talk to the merits of Evove’s technology in a credible manner
- Prior manufacturing, business, or engineering experience
- Prior management experience
- Prior membrane manufacturing experience would be advantageous
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional team members
- Technical competencies in manufacturing (e.g. technical drawings, blueprints, CAD/CAM)
- Strong technical and collaborative approach
- It is expected that the successful Manufacturing Supervisor will perform tasks outside of their job description as our young company expands and evolves, so it is essential that they are collaborative with a strong desire to achieve success as part of a team.

**Benefits**:

The position is open immediately. Evove’s current Head Office is located at the Sci-Tech campus in Daresbury in the Northwest of England, with its new manufacturing location being just a 15 minute drive away in Widnes.
