Constructionlines is an independent builders merchant based in Heanor, Derbyshire. The opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the accounts team at Constructionlines. The role will be focused on Purchase Ledger but there will be the opportunity to get involved in credit control and sales ledger to provide cover within the department. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has experience within a Purchase Ledger department dealing with high volume of transactions, but also has good all-round accounts experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Creating new suppliers
- Processing of supplier invoices and credit notes
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Raising weekly and monthly supplier payments
- Raising and resolving supplier disputes
- Posting credit card receipts and reconciling credit card statements
- Posting petty cash receipts and reconciling petty cash account

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required**:

- Previous Purchase Ledger experience
- Good organisation skills
- Attention to detail
- Good Microsoft skills including excel
- Good communication skills
- Team player

**Remuneration/Benefits**:

- Salary up to £25,000 p.a depending on experience
- Permanent, full time role
- Monday to Friday - 8.00am - 5.00pm
- Workplace Pension Scheme
- 28 Days Holiday including bank holidays
- An additional 3-4 days holiday for the shutdown period between Christmas and New Year

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year
