Based in Heanor, Derbyshire, Constructionlines specialise in Heavyside, Civils, Landscaping Materials and General Building supplies and serve both trade and public throughout the East Midlands, along the M1 corridor from Leeds to Hertfordshire.


The Role
The opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join the growing accounts team at Constructionlines.

The role initially will be focused on the Purchase Ledger but will develop over time to include other aspects of the accounts including sales ledger and credit control.

Therefore, we are looking for someone who has experience within a Purchase Ledger department dealing with high volume of transactions, but also has good all-round accounts experience.


Responsibilities
The main responsibilities will initially include

  • Posting purchase invoices and credit notes
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Raising supplier payments
  • Resolving supplier disputes
  • Posting credit card receipts
  • Previous experience working within a highvolume purchase ledger department as well as experience of sales ledger and credit control
  • Good organisation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good Microsoft skills including excel
  • Good communication skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
Up to £24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
